Commissions

UCEA Commissions are cross-disciplinary structures that focus member activities and professional development opportunities in core areas as identified by the Association's Board of Directors. These Commissions and their core areas are:

Futures and Markets (FAM)
Learning, Instruction, and Technology (LRN)
Leadership and Management (MGMT)
International Affairs (INTL)

Organization and Resources

Within each Commission are organized Communities of Practice.

Each Commission is composed of 20 Commissioners serving staggered, three-year terms. The chairs of the Communities of Practice affiliated with each Commission also serve as Commissioners during their term as chair. The Commissions meet in January and June of each year, as well as at the Association's Annual Conference.
