Commissions
UPCEA Commissions are cross-disciplinary structures that focus member
activities and professional development opportunities in core areas
as identified by the Association's Board of
Directors. These Commissions and their core areas are:
- Futures
and Markets (FAM)
- Learning, Instruction, and Technology (LIT)
- Leadership and
Management (MGMT)
- International Affairs (INTL)

Organization and Resources
Each UPCEA Commission is composed of elected and appointed Commissioners serving staggered,
three-year terms. The chair of a Communities of Practice affiliated
with a Commission also serve on that Commission during their term
as CoP chair. The Commissions typically meet in January and June of each year,
as well as at the Association's Annual Conference in the spring.
